Subject: Gregannandale Falls Mon Mar 03, 2014 7:26 pm
During the winter this waterfall can freeze but not completly. This water fall is located near the Dog Park and water can be seen from the Dog Park. During spring this place is thawing out and the river can get dangerous and flooded if the ice doesn't melt fast enough. During the summer this place is beautiful and green however the river current is still to dangerous for small dogs, dogs who do not know how to swim, unable to swim, or not strong enough to swim. Newfoundlands and other large water breed, breeds should be ok. If you want to do some swiming stay out of the current above and stay at this large pool and river that is slower then the top river(the river that leads off of the waterfall). Fish are here all seasons however are very hard to find during the winter as the swim up stream or stay under the two hard to break ice. Most are mislead by the title the Gregannandale Falls are a system of 3 waterfalls.
